Growing up in rural Indiana gave me plenty of time to observe cows.  They constantly inspire me with their calmness which I love to exaggerate with color and texture.  I love painting a variety of things, but fruits, flowers, people, and farms scenes, full of unique qualities and colors, seem to overshadow the rest of my inspirations.  Art to me is inspiring people to look again at the simple joys of life.
